Climeworks Summit 2026
Kick off Climate Week Zurich by joining us at the Climeworks Summit 2026 on Monday, May 4, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event will be held at the Climeworks Direct Air Capture (DAC) Innovation Center in Zurich, the world’s largest DAC R&D facility.
The invitation‑only event sets the tone for the week, bringing together sustainability leaders to explore how carbon dioxide removal (CDR) portfolios can deliver both climate impact and business value on the path to net zero across industries in Switzerland and beyond.
At the heart of the program is the fireside chat between Christian Mumenthaler, former CEO of Swiss Re Group, and Christoph Gebald, Co-founder and Co-CEO of Climeworks, followed by the CDR Buyers’ One-on-One: a rapid, unscripted arena where Climeworks Chief Commercial Officer, Adrian Siegrist, interviews five sustainability executives, delving into their strategies behind buying carbon removal, the challenges they faced, and what they expect from the market next.
The afternoon continues with curated roundtables on building carbon removal portfolios that deliver both climate impact and business value, before closing with a CDR Community Reception, celebrating the leaders turning climate commitments into real world impact.
